First days in the German school!

Hellooooo everyone! How are you?
Here we are again... the summer's holidays are unfortunately over and a new school year is starting!
For all of us it's almost a new and different year again: for those who are going to spend the fourth year abroad but also for those who remained here at Carducci, because the builiding is completely new and very modern!
It's a new school year also for me: I'm always here in Bolzano but I'm attending the German school "Walther von der Vogelweide".

The school began the 5th of September... but I was already scared a few days before!
Actually, I'm still a little bit frightened :D , because the German school is quite different from the Italian one. Okay...maybe a lot more different: starting by the German students and teachers themselves; the different way of teaching a subject; the relationships between teachers and students; the materials and so on. The German school is completely another reality!
When I chose this school I knew I would have been facing a challenge, because it would have been a hard year full of news, changes, obstacles.
In fact, a few days before the beginning of the school, I thought "No, I'm not going there!". But then I realised that it was a great opportunity, that I should have not let slip.
I would say that I'm proud of me (thing that doesn't happen to me very often!), because I was also brave...it wasn't an easy choice to take.
Now that I've spent some days in this school I'm calmer and happier, because she made me a really good impression! :-)
My class is really big, we're 26! There are other 5 Italian students there with me, not only Claudia and Giulia as you already know, but also 2 other Carducciani and one girl from Marcelline. The German classmates surprised me a lot because they are different from what I expected: they immediately welcomed us, smiled at us and were very kind. Also the teachers seem to be very competent, kind and helpful! :-)
I hope it will be a great journey and adventure!
I'm looking forward to learn more about this different culture and these interesting people...and obviously hearing news from you all!

donc bien soigner l'étude de la langue et de la littérature françaises est fondamental! J'espère te revoir bientot!
