German school

Hello everyone,
I wish you all spent a wonderful summer!
I read all what you posted on this page...I'm really happy you are all okay! I would like to share with you too my thoughts and worries, as well as the positive things of my new school.

Waking up early in the morning has never been so hard: this summer holidays really made me lazy!  My first day in the German school gave me a good and positive impression. We began at 10 am with the English lesson, but we met earlier in the church as the school is used to do every year.
In my class there are seven classmates, coming from Italian schools, among which there are also Claudia and Camilla. The german students are twenty. They seem really nice and willling and immediately asked us if we needed help. I hope I will get on well with all of them.
Since the first hours we spent in this school I noticed the air and the mood is really different here: we really don't realise how lucky we are to have that nice and opened realationship between the students and the teachers.
However, until now things are going in the right way. Obviously I know it will be very hard: I really hope  I'll make it.
I'm really worried about subjects like biology and physics: it's really difficult to understand new topics and at the same time to take notes in another language.
But maybe it's too early to evaluate: I usually need a lot of time to get used to news.
Whatever I'm going to take you step by step through my experience in the new school and tell you everything that happens here. I miss you all...see you soon!
Giulia

  1. Darling Giulia,

you are just "round the corner", so if you need anything simply ask!
It's great to know we estabished a positive and open relationship with the students, it makes teaching and learning easier and certainly more pleasant the hours spent at school or studying and planning.
And don't be in a hurry to understand everything immediately , give yourself a little more time and be confident!

We'll try to organize a new-schoolyear tea party as soon as possible. keep in touch!

  2. Cara Giulia,
    Carla
